The Legend of the Golden Spatula!! (Crabmas and the 100 Year Wish)  December 19, 2011

Still two years away from the now official December 18th start of the 8 days of Crabmas, we are getting into the lore of the Christmas Crabs magical origins. We also find out that Gordon has been there from the start!! Here we get our first appearance of the Winter Witch and the Golden Spatula!! While it’ll be more than a decade before we see the Winter Witch again, the Golden Spatula can be seen most years atop the Christmas Crabs Crabmas Tree!! We also get to see where the Spam Sleigh came from!!

While I don’t remember what inspired most of this one, the appearance of the Gingerbread Canyon is probably inspired by a trip to the Grand Canyon earlier that year!! :-D

Fun fact..The weird chair in the Crooked Castle on Dec 23rd was an Easter egg just for Sid to forever remind him of the bizarre bed sheet choice his then girlfriend had made.
