A Crabmas Blizzard!!  December 17, 2010

For some reason (maybe a Crabmas Miracle??) Crabmas 2010 saw people come back to interact with Crabmas like the old days. Mostly real fans showed up and not many of the people that only wanted to eat the beloved sea creatures!! This Crabmas still features text inside and outside of the cartoons, which in the future changed to having all the story text separate from the cartoons for hopefully easier reading and having the text bubble text be just for fun.

Secret not really a secret tidbit number 1.. Crabmas Eve brought an internet outage with it!! Thank goodness that I had pictures done and saved online. But it was still two days before I got my first smart phone so it took some nightly trips with a laptop to McDonald’s parking lot for their free WiFi to save Crabmas!!

Secret tidbit number 2.. Steve the snowplowing hippo!! In early December, The Song a Day Man on YouTube, Jonathan Mann, was asking for song requests, so I asked for a song about a hippo who plows snow for a living, and to my surprise my idea was chosen and using a hippo named Steve from a song from the previous year the song “The Continuing Adventures of Steve The Hippo” was born!! And while he got my name MrGneiss (Mr. Nice) a bit wrong, it was still amazing and gave our often returning hippo friend his name!!
