Wake Up Christmas Crab!!   December 18, 2008

The first Crabmas to start on the 18th, but still not daily.

While this one started on the now official start of the Crabmas stories, December 18th, it still didn’t yet follow the now standard format of one part of the story each day for eight days ending on the 25th!!

This Crabmas was also the first to reference elements of TV shows, books and movies in the stories. While not a yearly occurrence it has happened many times, often referencing other Christmas stories like in this one which obviously is partly based on It’s a Wonderful Life (with a dash of A Christmas Carol), but they aren't always Christmas stories and they seem to be rarely noticed!! :-p
